The Photographic Society of Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya is a platform that encourages and impart hundreds of young shutterbugs to develop their eye to capture & observe the world through a lens since 2001, using photography as a medium to convey their stories and see the composition or an expression that life offers, the society has given them the opportunity to experience the beauty and uniqueness in the art of photography.

                 

The club has successfully organized professionally conducted sessions for members to learn the Theoretical, Practical and Technical photography skills, moreover, to build up teamwork and Leadership skills, all the club members will be given an opportunity to cover school events and to take part in various competitions to gain more exposure in the field. During these past years, the club has successfully covered many important school events & gained many achievements in photography reorganizing the club as one of the top school clubs in the school to date.
